Steve Leyshon will be holding an open forum where there will be discussion about some of the plans for the club and ways in which we can look at increasing our profile in the local community and also raise our sponsorship income. All members welcome

Juniors Day:
Sat 6th December 2008
We will be holding our juniors’ day for all players, parents and helpers/coaches. We will meet at 12 noon where there will be a short presentation by Steve Leyshon followed by a buffet. The youngsters will then put on an exhibition match before the 1st XV take on Yatton in the league. The evening entertainment will be a karaoke so get your singing heads on!

"As Chairman I would like to welcome you to the web site of Avonmouth OB RFC.

The club is a modern club with old fashioned beliefs. Its ethics are based on being a firm part of the local community offering a safe environment in which members can develop both sporting and social skills.

Avonmouth offers some excellent facilities and aims to provide opportunities for all ages and levels. The club was formed in 1897 and has always been one of the leading sides in the Bristol & District Combination. During the 1970s, 80s and early 90s we were regular winners of the Bristol Combination Merit Table and Cup. In 2007 the club was crowned Gloucester Premier Champions and followed this up by winning the Western Counties North league in 2008 gaining promotion to South West 2. This was an outstanding achievement and is just reward for the hard work and commitment shown by all those involved with the club.
